Lisa Hohman is the current CEO of Concordance Healthcare Solutions. Lisa began her career in the distribution industry in 1992, working in a variety of roles prior to joining Seneca Medical in 2000. Lisa began her tenure at Seneca Medical as a Sales Manager and soon transitioned to leading the development of internal departments such as Supplier Relations, Sales Support and Item Maintenance; each department added efficiency and profitability to the company and helped to support its growth throughout the Midwestern region.

During Lisa’s tenure at Seneca Medical she oversaw Procurement, Operations, Customer Service, Sales Support, Sourcing and Supplier Relations and was named the Chief Strategy Officer for the organization, in addition to joining the governing board. Through the dedication and innovation of board members like Lisa Hohman, Seneca Medical merged with Kreisers and MMS – A Medical Supply Company to form Concordance in 2016.

In 2019, Lisa was named the CEO of Concordance and now focuses on leading the development of the company’s short- and long-term strategy. She is working to effectively increase corporate communication both internally and externally while maintaining awareness of the competitive market landscape, expansion opportunities and industry developments that may affect Concordance. Lisa is currently the HIDA HEF Board Chair, as well as a SMI Advisory Board Member and was awarded the 2019 PWH Leadership of Distinction Award.

Jane Pleasants
President, SMI

SMI
Jane Pleasants is the President of SMI responsible for the overall operations of the organization, moderation of bi-annual Forums, and oversight of industry initiatives.
Previously, Jane was the Vice President, Supply Chain for Duke University and Duke University Health System. She joined Duke to establish a procurement infrastructure for the newly formed Health System which included developing a robust portfolio of self-contracts for medical supplies, drugs, equipment and services, implementing an enterprise-wide materials management system, providing leadership in aggressive cost reduction, and integrating procurement activities. She had responsibilities for end to end supply chain management which includes all materials and logistic functions in the Health System. In addition to Health System supply chain responsibilities, Jane also provided procurement and sourcing leadership for the academic and medical center campuses at Duke University, one of the few shared service organizations supporting academic medical centers, universities, and health systems. Her global procurement and sourcing activities included the sourcing and procurement of the furniture and equipment for the Duke Kunshan University Campus located in China’s Yangtze River Delta Region, bordering Shanghai.
Her early supply chain career began in a small rural hospital in North Georgia. Since that early beginning, Jane has led supply chains at three academic medical centers, Vanderbilt University, University of Rochester, and Duke University, all shared services between the medical center and academic enterprises.

Ford Koles
Vice President and National Spokesperson



Ford Koles is a nationally recognized expert in health system economics and strategy—and the founder of Oboe Healthcare Insights. A trusted advisor to health care executives across the country, Ford is one of the most sought-after speakers in the industry.

Ford is renowned for his candid, engaging style, and his talent for bringing sharp clarity to complex health care issues. His work spans the full arc of reform—from coverage expansion and managed care to vertical integration, physician alignment and value-based payment models. Ford brings historical context and forward-looking strategy to each conversation, drawing on his deep industry knowledge and longterm relationships at the C-suite and board level.

Before launching Oboe, Ford served as a senior executive at the Advisory Board Company for 33 years. He was a key architect of the firm’s business model and played a central role in shaping its voice and vision.

Ford holds a BA from Kenyon College and an MA in Economics from Johns Hopkins University. He began his career in management consulting at the Hay Group and Ernst & Young.

Joe Walsh
Executive Coach & educator



As a values-driven c-suite executive, Joe brings a unique 25-year track record of leading both supply chain transformations and commercial transformations across three industries.
Joe served in progressive supply chain leadership roles and business development roles for Corporate Express and Foodbuy before choosing healthcare after the tragic loss of both of his parents. Joe served as Intermountain Healthcare’s Chief Supply Chain Officer until late 2016, building an extraordinary talent bench and ultimately helping the team become Gartner’s #1 ranked Healthcare Supply Chain. Joe also served as Pensiamo’s EVP of Operations as he helped commercialize UPMC’s Supply Chain.
In January 2018, Joe courageously left the safety net of corporate leadership roles to more intentionally honor his healthcare purpose and entrepreneurial spirit. Joe founded Supply Chain Sherpas, which is a leadership development and education firm serving both health system supply chain teams and supplier commercial teams. Supply Chain Sherpas offers comprehensive training & development programs, culture change services, employee engagement services, mentoring programs, advisory board programs, and executive coaching services.

Jeromie Atkinson
Vice President, Chief Supply Chain Officer


With more than 30 years of customer-focused experience, Jeromie is a supply chain evangelist and educator.
Jeromie earned his supply chain credentials in a variety of for-profit industries prior to making the shift to the healthcare supply chain where he applied his focus and passion to help transform the health systems where he worked. Jeromie has served as a supply chain operator and leader in a wide variety of healthcare settings and has also provided supply chain consulting, education, and coaching nationally to health systems and healthcare manufacturers.
In parallel to his professional experience, Jeromie has helped to advance the academic dialog in higher education around supply chain and has taught at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Jeromie serves as Vice President, Chief Supply Chain Officer at Intermountain Health.

Shannon Kooker, MSN, RN, CPPS, CIC, CPHQ, FAPIC
Executive Director of Total Systems Safety


Shannon currently serves as the Executive Director of ECRI’s Total Systems Safety. With a clinical background in adult critical care nursing, Shannon specializes in infection prevention, patient safety and healthcare quality improvement. She currently sits on the National Steering Committee for Patient Safety.
She has authored a book and published several articles that focus on the importance of infection prevention and patient safety. In 2016, Shannon was honored with the APIC Heroes of Infection Prevention Award.
Shannon has served in the United State Air Force and leads ECRI’s SALUTE Program. Shannon is certified in just culture, patient safety, infection control, healthcare quality, as a TeamSTEPPS Master Trainer and High Reliability coach. She received her BSN from the University of Southern Maine, her MSN from Walden University, and in 2020 was designated by APIC as a fellow in infection prevention (FAPIC).

 

Scott Lucas, PhD, PE
Vice President of Device Safety


Dr. Lucas has over twenty years of experience in engineering safety in the healthcare, automotive, maritime, and defense industries. He has served as a principal consultant on hundreds of engagements with hospital executives, clinical providers, medical device manufacturers, defense and plaintiff attorneys, accreditors, and regulators, testified in court and before the U.S. FDA on various medical device hazards and investigations, and has authored hundreds of technical reports and academic publications.
At ECRI, Dr. Lucas is the head of medical device safety activities, including device evaluations, preventive consulting services, accident and forensic investigation, and problem reporting services. Also at ECRI, he has served as the Principal and Director of Accident and Forensic Investigation.
Prior to ECRI, Dr. Lucas was a forensic engineer at Jensen Hughes and Exponent Failure Analysis Associates. At Jensen Hughes he led mechanical engineers, metallurgists, and other disciplines in forensic activities. At Exponent, his focus was on human injury biomechanics in automotive and military impacts. Dr. Lucas completed his graduate research at the University of Virginia Center for Applied Biomechanics, where he directed and conducted research projects pertaining to injury biomechanics. He used anthropomorphic test devices (ATDs), post-mortem human specimens (cadavers), and computational modeling to investigate human injury tolerance and human dynamic response to impacts. His area of expertise included soft tissue mechanics, particularly microstructural material and failure behavior of spinal ligaments.

 

Eric Tritch
Sr. Vice President of Supply Chain & Support Services and Chief Supply Chain Officer

Eric Tritch, is the Sr. Vice President of Supply Chain & Support Services and Chief Supply Chain Officer for UChicago Medicine. In this role, he has oversight of all supply chain operations, contracting, value analysis and supplier management activity for the health system.  Along with responsibility for Environmental Services, Patient Transportation, Public Safety & Parking operations.
Eric has extensive experience and a proven track record in Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcing processes. His career started in the industrial manufacturing sector, then went into supply chain consulting, and now has been in healthcare for over 13 years. His undergraduate degree is in Applied Engineering Sciences w/a Supply Chain focus at Michigan State University and his MBA is from The University of St. Thomas with a focus in Healthcare Management.

David Davis
Vice President of Supply Chain


David Davis, MBA serves as Vice President of Supply Chain at VCU Health System Authority, an integrated academic health system in Virginia with hospitals and outpatient locations in Richmond, South Hill, and Tappahannock. VCU Health reported approximately $3.5 billion in operating revenue. David leads enterprise supply chain strategy focused on operational excellence and system reliability.

 

James R. Francis, FACHE
Chair, Supply Chain Management and Assistant Treasurer Mayo Clinic Assistant Professor, Health Care Administration Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science


Jim Francis has more than thirty (30) years of experience in leading high performing supply chain organizations. He joined Mayo Clinic in 1999 and is responsible for enterprise-wide supply chain strategy and operations. In 2023, Mayo expended more than $6.9 billion on supplies, purchased services, and capital investments. Consisting of the world-renowned Mayo Clinic, Mayo inspires hope and promotes health through Clinical Practice, Education, and Research. Mayo consists of 22 acute care hospitals and more than 130 practice sites. In addition to these responsibilities, Mayo provides sourcing and contracting services to Captis, LLC, a supply network that consists of 91 hospital and health system networks with more than 325 hospitals and $18 billion in purchases. During his tenure, the dedicated team of professionals in supply chain management have launched or collaborated on the formation of Supply Chain Solutions (freight management), Captis, Achieve CP, Civica Rx, Alluma, and most recently, Inspirity Health Partners. Supply Chain Management is also responsible for Mayo Clinic Stores, retail locations for medical supplies and DME.

Prior to his current position, Jim was Vice President of Material Services at BJC Healthcare in St. Louis. In this capacity, he was responsible for the integration and management of all supply chain functions. While at BJC, he managed a system-wide supply expense of $340 million. Prior to this position, he was Vice President of Corporate Services at Christian Health Services (CHS) in St. Louis. He had been with the CHS system since 1984.

Steve Liou has a 15+ year career as a healthcare investor. After graduating from Columbia University, he worked at JPMorgan as a Healthcare Investment Banker in their M&A group. Tom Harvieux

As senior vice president and chief supply chain officer, Tom Harvieux is responsible for leading BJC Health Systems supply chain and logistics strategy to deliver efficient, cost effective and high-quality outcomes. His responsibilities include executive leadership of over 650 team members, dedicated 3PL consolidated services center with 155 team members, and $3.7 billion non-labor spend management. With more than $12 billion in net revenues and more than 47,000 employees across Missouri, Illinois and Kansas, BJC HealthCare is one of the largest nonprofit health care organizations in the United States and one of the largest employers in Missouri. BJC includes 24 hospitals and multiple community health locations.

Prior to joining BJC in 2018, Harvieux was the vice president of corporate supply chain management for Sanford Health, a $5.5 billion health system with 40,000 employees headquartered in Sioux Falls, S.D. Sanford is the largest employer in the Dakotas. Sanford includes 46 hospitals and 186 long term care facilities. There he had responsibility for $1.6 billion in non-labor spend management and led a team of 445.

Before joining Sanford Health in 2008, Harvieux served as director of supply chain operations
at Fairview Health Services – Southdale Hospital in Edina, Minnesota. Prior to entering the health care field, he spent over 22 years in supply chain leadership roles in the military.

Aarathi Cholkeri-Singh, MD, FACOG

Dr. Aarathi Cholkeri-Singh is a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon who completed her fellowship training through the AAGL in 2007. She was in private practice in Metropolitan Chicago for nearly 13 years during which time she developed and led courses at multiple national and international meetings, published manuscripts in well-recognized, peer-reviewed medical journals, contributed book chapters in medical textbooks, served as a leader, including elected Board positions, in medical societies and communities, and worked with several industry partners on advancing women’s health care. Dr. Cholkeri-Singh made significant contributions in the work of both laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, including, but not limited to, isthmocele repairs, retained products of conception, embryofetoscopy, and training and education. She recently shifted from direct patient care into industry leadership where she currently serves as the KARL STORZ United States Executive Director and Chief Medical Officer for Medical & Scientific Affairs.

Ginger Sharp

Ginger Sharp, MBA, MHSA, CRMP, has been an influential leader in healthcare operations and supply chain management for over twenty years. She currently holds the position of Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer at Legacy Health, a mid-sized health system based in Portland, Oregon. Legacy Health has eight hospitals – including a level-one trauma center, children’s hospital and behavioral health center – an extensive ambulatory network and health plan, serving patients in both Oregon and southwest Washington State. Before joining Legacy Health in 2019, Ginger led teams at another major health system in the Pacific Northwest (focusing on supply chain and surgical services management), led ambulatory services and operations at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, Florida, and pharmacy mail order at a PBM in Scottsdale, Arizona.
As an accomplished leader, Ginger has successfully guided teams through restructure and governance redesigns and has been a strong proponent of clinically integrated supply chain and physician engagement. Demonstrating a strong commitment to mentorship and industry collaboration, Ginger is actively participating in SMI’s Advancing Women Leaders program, is active in the western states regional AHRMM group (WSHMMA) and other industry group task forces to drive change and improvement. Valencia Stoudamire, MPA

With over 25 years of purchasing and multi-level relationship building experience in the automotive and healthcare sectors, Valencia Stoudamire currently serves as the Vice President of Strategic Supplier Engagement & Community Benefit Reporting for Henry Ford Health (HFH) in Detroit. In this role, she has responsibility for leading the System’s supplier engagement objectives by developing strategies that create and enhance partnerships and spend with suppliers to strengthen the Supply Chain. Additionally, Valencia co-leads efforts to enhance the data collection process for community benefit reporting which is a requirement for the enterprise to maintain its nonprofit status. Prior to her current role, Valencia served as Director of Non-Clinical Strategic Sourcing where she led a team of Contract Sourcing Specialists and Analysts in the development of cost-effective bid strategies for Purchased Services, Capital Equipment and Construction.

Daryl Stilley

After earning his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Lamar University, Mr. Stilley began his career with Sodexo Healthcare in 1994 having operational leadership responsibilities for multiple support services departments at a large healthcare system in Texas. Throughout his 30-year career in healthcare, he also had expanded sales leadership roles at Aramark and Towne Health leading business development teams in some of the largest healthcare system outsourcing partnerships for both organizations.

Jay Kirkpatrick

Jay has been a leader in the healthcare supply chain space for more than 35 years. Before joining LifePoint Health in 2019, he served as regional chief executive officer for HealthTrust, where he oversaw group purchasing relationships with 17 healthcare systems with a total supply spend of $10 billion. Prior to that, he served in several roles over 16 years for HCA Healthcare, including CEO of Nashville Supply Chain Services.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business: Production & Operations Management and Procurement Management from Miami University and a Master of Business Administration from Eastern Kentucky University. A Certified Materials Resource Professional (CMRP), he is a past president of the Association for Health Care Resource & Materials Management (AHRMM) and the recipient of both the AHRMM George R. Emily Gallo is senior vice president and general manager of Cardinal Health™ OptiFreight® Logistics, focused on building technology products to innovate the way healthcare supply chain leaders manage logistics and remove cost.

Gallo has been with Cardinal Health for 10 years where she has led executive customer
engagement strategy and several medical product businesses, including operating room and
PPE portfolios. Prior to joining Cardinal Health, Gallo launched neonatal products at Abbott
Nutrition, held sales, market research, and global competitive strategy roles at Merck & Co.,
and advised medical device manufacturers for Boston Biomedical Consultants (BBC).

Relocating to Buenos Aires, Argentina, she led BBC’s Latin America book of business.
Gallo serves on the board of Cardinal Health’s Political Action Committee and is the
executive sponsor of Cardinal Health’s PROUD employee resource group. She also sits on the
board of Eidos LGBTQ+ Health Initiative in association with the University of Pennsylvania
School of Nursing and serves as a member of the Trustee’s Council of Penn Women and
Penn Leadership Q. In 2021, Gallo was awarded the Rising Star award from the Healthcare
Businesswomen’s Association.

Gallo holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from Bowdoin College and graduated with honors
from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business with an MBA in healthcare
management.
